Question: I have two dataminers.

Can both point to the same SMS Eagle gateway? Or does one dataminer needs a SMS device each?

Hi Cedric,

First of all, I assume that your two DataMiner Agents are not configured as one cluster (one SMS gateway for one cluster with multiple DataMiner Agents works fine).

Theoretically, multiple DataMiner Agents can use the same IP-based device (e.g. SMSEagle) but you will have a problem for the incoming messages. There is no way to know which DataMiner Agent should receive the incoming message. Hence the reason why I would go for two SMSEagle devices (if you have two DataMiner clusters).
