Hi Dojo community,

I would like to know if there is a way to use the “Get parameter table by ID” data source with feed data (e.g. dropdown to select an element)?

On our DMA it is only possible to use a feed for the table ID, not the DMA/element ID.

DMA/element ID is limited to numeric input.

Hi Felix,

It is currently not possible to feed the DMA ID and Element ID values for the “Get parameter table by ID” data source. I’ve created a task for our team to follow up on this new feature.

Alternatively, you could use the “Get parameters for elements where” data source and add a filter operator. The filter operator can filter the “Element ID” column and the value can use a feed (e.g. coming from a dropdown).

Feel free to let me know if anything is unclear.

Best regards, Ward

Hi Ward,
thanks for creating a task.
“Get parameters for element where” in the way you described it looks suitable for me.
Best regards,
Felix
