Will there be a future feature in the new Dashboard to develop queries on alarms and the associated properties?

This is already available as the 'Active alarms' and 'History alarms' data sources starting from 10.1.0. You need to enable the 'GenericInterface' soft launch option before you'll see this in the query builder.
A new approach to alarms was taken in 10.1.9 replacing the above data sources (see RN30320). All alarms are now merged into a single data source called 'Alarms'. The soft launch option is no longer required for this.
Notes:
- Alarm properties are not yet available in GQI.
- It's advised to enable the indexing of alarms in Elastic Search in order to speed up execution times.
