Failover Pair – Is the folder Webpages synced?

Hi Dojo,

In the docs it is mentioned that folder Folder C:\Skyline DataMiner\Webpages\Public\ is not synced across a DMS. Ref: Overview of the different subfolders | DataMiner Docs.

However, since failover pairs supposedly are a copy of each other, I would expect this folder to be synced. Does anyone know if this subfolder is in fact synced in a failover pair?

Hi Catarina,

On the FO pair, you can check the syncinfo file name ending with 400A.xml and look for something like the below but for the Webpages\Public folder:

<Change type="add" time="1970-01-01 00:00:00#000" file="C:\Skyline DataMiner\WebPages\Reports\Templates\Templates.xml" />

If you see this for the Public folder, I expect the folder to be synced, otherwise no.

Might also be ideal to reach out to the concerned SW team for more info.
