I don't believe this is possible...This alarm update is required to keep the alarm up to date with the latest information. So, indeed whenever the parameter name changes, any active alarms on this parameter will be updated with a Name Change alarm.

Not sure if it's the case, but in case you would experience a notice alarm that the alarm history exceeds x alarms, it is possible to disable such notice alarm...
