Hello All,
We have a use case where a virtual driver is using element connections to aggregate parameters from various other elements in the DMA. A Visio is then built on top of this virtual element to display the current values of the parameters.
In the element connections configuration, the option to 'Include Element State' is selected. In doing so, when the original element goes into timeout, the number-based parameters displayed on the Visio turn orange to indicate the root element is in timeout. However, with this same setting selected, analog parameters through element connections are not turning orange to indicate a timeout in the same way.
Is this expected?
Another question for the same scenario - when the root elements go into timeout, what options do we have to display something other than the last known value of the parameter? Considering we are using element connections, is there shape data that can be applied to overwrite a parameter value on Visio if the element state is in timeout?
Thank you in advance!
