When using the ;view option on a DVE table, what's the expected behavior when that cell-value is empty / not-initialized?

What should happen with the DVE when the value of its view column cell is not-initialized / empty string?

  • Is it expected that the DVE will be placed in the root view?
  • Is it expected that the DVE will be placed in all of the views of its parent element? -> Basically, when the DVEs parent element is part of multiple views, will the DVE also be part of those views?
    Additionally, will this auto-view-part of the parent element update automatically? Example: The parent element gets added to even another view, will the DVE also be automatically part of that view as well?

Tested the behavior on a DataMiner system:
When the view option for a DVE is not-intialized or empty string, the DVE is moved to ALL the views of the parent element.

Note:
When assigning the parent element to another view after the DVEs were created, then the DVEs with no view option value DO NOT follow the parent element into the newly assigned view.
