Hi,
I was wondering: is it possible that certain users can see a hyperlink (see screenshot below) appearing in the right-click menu and other users (belonging to another group and as a consequence entitled to other permissions) do not? 🤔
And if so, which permission is configuring this? In this way, I would be able to help fix it. 🤗
In the documentation on these hyperlinks, I did not find an indication. And in the permission-configuration in the System Center, I see "allow add or update hyperlinks", but not something called "allow to view hyperlinks".
Hi Joachim,
Here you can find an overview of all the user permissions: https://docs.dataminer.services/user-guide/Advanced_Functionality/Security/DataMiner_user_permissions.html
The setting that you would normally need is the: Alarms>Extended context menu Alarm Console. This setting allows the user to gain access to the right click menu in the alarm console.
I don't believe there is another setting specifically for the Hyperlinks.
Thank you for clarifying. I checked with the user and see the specific user that does not see the hyperlink has the “extended context menu Alarm console” checked.
So there must be another explanation, maybe it is only showing on alarms of a specific connector, and is their confusion because the administrator was looking in a context menu of an alarm with that possibility and the user to an alarm without that possibility.
