We do not use scheduled workflows, but off course we do not know what the framework itself uses.
Is the framework using it in 10.1 CU21 on a cluster system ?
If so : for what and what will not work any more ?
Hi,
IDP should work without problems even if you do not have ElasticSearch installed in your system.
IDP has its functionalities available for semi-automated operations (i.e. automated operation but manually triggered by an operator) and then it can go fully automated with the help of Process Automation where you can configure Processes to automatically be executed at a point in time or periodically.
And for this last option, you will need the Elastic engine as that is a requirement of Process Automation.
This fully automated manner is not required and IDP will continue to work but it provides a great added value to the solution.
You can see the differences in the UI below
Hope this explanation was helpful to you.
IDP is a license of its own and I would refer you to our Sales or Licensing team to clarify any questions regarding your specific licenses.
Regarding the differences between your customer sites and your validation systems, it isn’t easy to give you a definitive answer about the cause but I would start by checking if there are differences between those systems like DataMiner versions or installed features.
Thank you for your fast and clear response.
Is Dataminer IDP licensed per default or included in some other license ?
Because we have that alarm only at certain customer sites and not on our own validation systems. The Application Engineers of those customers did not explicitly asked for an IDP license.
