It is possible to upgrade directly from one version to another (as long as you are going to later versions) using the full package. When going from one major version to another (e.g. from 10.0.x to 10.2.x) then it is best practice to upgrade first to the major version(s) in between (10.1.x in this example). This is to ensure that no upgrade actions are skipped.
