Hi,
I'm using disabledIf function in a protocol. Works usually fine but here I want to check for a string.
Protocol:
<Alarm>
<Monitored disabledIf="203,Power Port*">true</Monitored>
<Info></Info>
<CL></CL>
<MaL></MaL>
<MiL></MiL>
<WaL></WaL>
<Normal>1</Normal>
<WaH>3;4</WaH>
<MiH></MiH>
<MaH>0</MaH>
<CH></CH>
</Alarm>
If I use it like this the condition is set to "Equal to", but I would need "Matches wildcard expression". Is there an option where I can select the correct behavior?
Hello Stefan,
The disabledIf tag in the protocol was an initial version for conditional monitoring. Newer features were only added to the alarm template as we felt it was more suitable there since different customers wanted different conditions for the same protocol. It is kind of 'only maintenance mode' and the newer functionality hasn't been retro-actively added to it like the ' matches wildcard expressions' options
If you think it could be a useful feature anyhow feel free to propose it as a 'new/feature enhancement' anyways through:
