I am reporting on behalf of the customer:
DIS version 3.0.0
When I test the DMA connection test using DIS settings, it's successful.
However when I tried to publish the protocol towards the DMA, we are receiving an error stating that the target machine is refusing the connection, despite using the correct credentials as shown below:
As per the other related dojo post: DIS 3.1.6 Connection Issue - DataMiner Dojo
The error points towards where DIS is trying to make an api call to http://127.0.0.1 (localhost), which makes me believe that there is no http (port 80) binding configured in IIS, resulting in the refusal of the connection.
(1) However, when we check the DMA server IIS manager, http/https port binding is configured for default website as shown below:
(2) i have also checked that IIS Admin is up and running as well.
(3) The DMA is not configured to use HTTPS as well.
Is there anything am I missing to check or if DIS version 3.1.7 will resolve this issue?

DIS v3.0.0 doesn't connect yet to the WebApi, so that error that you showed is from DIS v3.1.6. That issue is fixed in DIS v3.1.7.
Regarding the error itself, it's likely that HTTPS isn't correctly configured on DataMiner itself.
Hello Michiel, thank you for the update. I will try to ask the customer to use DIS v3.1.7 to see if it resolves the issue.
As for the error, the customer DMA is not being configured to use HTTPS.
So I thought it should still be able to connect despite the error.
