Different Y-axis for trend graphs with same scale

Hello Dojo,

I have two elements from two different protocols, but they both have a temperature parameter.

I am used to see the two temperature parameters on the same trend group using the same y axis with units equal to deg C.

After adding an exception to one of the protocols (just like it is described on docs: Exception element | DataMiner Docs), I can no longer see the two different trend graphs with the same Y axis, even though they both use the same units.

In this specific case, we want to have an exception value when the temperature reaches 850 degrees. And we have displayed “Sensor not connected” value.

Does anyone know how can I get both the exception on one of the protocols and continue to see the two different parameter’s trending on the same Y-axis?

Thanks in advance for your help!

This is indeed a design choice that was made for consistency. If parameters don’t have the EXACT same value configuration (i.e. exception mapping, discreets + mapping), they will be put on different axis. We made this choice to avoid creating very big exception areas for different exceptions of different parameters on the same axis.

This is unfortunate on this case, but thanks Toon anyway for your insights!
