Different alarm templates for the one element?

Hi,

I'm wondering if it is possible for an Element to have multiple different Alarm Templates depending on the View, since an element can be in different views?

Use case: we have different teams looking at DataMiner, and they maybe interested in different things. One alarm may be Critical for one team, but just Informational for the other teams. Any suggestion on how to achieve this?

Hi Trong,

As already mentioned by Miguel, you can't work with different alarm templates for the same element. If one of your teams would have a separate DataMiner platform, you can replicate elements (and use another alarm template). Of course, this solution is coming with an extra cost (extra DMA) and extra engineering work.

Thanks Koen. I’m currently using Replicated elements as a workaround, but was hoping for a cleaner solution.
