Hi,
Following a failover enable, I have noticed that the DBMaintenanceDMS.xml was not copied over and loaded onto the failover agent, causing a DataMiner runtime error with the following message: "The Service Manager is licensed, but no Elasticsearch database is active on the system. Therefore, Resource Manager and Service Manager will not initialize.", after switching over.
Is the file expected to by synchronized automatically by DataMiner (part of the failover enable procedure) or does it require manual configuration to match the settings found on the original agent, prior to enabling the feature?
Thanks in advance,
Can you confirm that this issue is in the meantime resolved?
I believe this RN might have solved the issue:
General Main Release 10.0.0 - Enhancements | DataMiner Docs
Enhanced downgrade and upgrade actions for TTL settings [ID_18946]
If not, i would definitely chase this to have a fix, normally the file should be created the moment you start up a DMA, and the settings should be copied over when you enable the failover
We’ve received confirmation from core eco that the DBMaintenanceDMS.xml file is correctly synchronized with the failover (upon enabling the feature) in the latest RC.
