To install DataMiner on my local PC, I did the following steps:
- Downloaded the DataMiner 10.2.0 installer from Dojo
- Extracted the zip file
- Executed the Setup_xxx.exe as Administrator and started the installation (I chose “Customize”, but kept everything default otherwise)
The installation failed as can be seen in the screenshot below:

Does anyone have any clue what I should do? If more info is needed, don’t hesitate to ask
I assume you also installed some other software doing some changes to the .NET framework. This can be a change or new installation of .NET. Most likely a windows reboot is needed to finish up some items with this.
A reboot of the computer may help to resolve this issue.

Thanks! Although I thought I did some reboots already before, doing another one fixed it for me. The installation went fast and smooth then!
