Hi Dojo,

I got equipment that is able to send logs, now I want to add log receiver in its Driver/Connector so I can see the equipment log inside the dataminer too.

How to do that?

Regards,

Hi Greisen,

If you're aiming for a TCP socket listenning for incoming log messages, you can configure a Smart-Serial connection in your connector that will operate as a server, as described in the documentation "This is achieved by specifying "any" for the IP address and specifying a port on which you want DataMiner to listen locally." Note that this option will redirect all the packets sent towards the IP address of the DataMiner Agent hosting that connector to the Port specified in the connection.

Alternatively there is also a generic syslog driver available: https://catalog.dataminer.services/result/driver/806
