Dataminer and LAPS

Hi,

Our infra team wants to roll-out LAPS to our dataminer agents. Basicly all agents will get an local admin account password reset every x days.

Does this affect the working of the agents, is there anyone who runs this already without issues?

Hi Gerwin,

That is no problem to use LAPS on DMAs, I would even highly recommend it!

We use this for many years already on all our DMAs, without any issue. Everybody must use their own user anyhow, and if for some reason you would need to have access with the Administrator account (e.g. you removed your own user), then you can reach out to IT for the current password, log in with Administrator and add your own user again.
