Hi,

I would like to know if MSSQL/MySQL are supported databases for DataMiner 10. Or is Cassandra the only database supported by DataMiner 10?

Thanks!

Hi Carlos,

For the currently supported releases of DataMiner, so including DataMiner 10, it is still possible to use a MySQL or MS-SQL database instead of Cassandra.

You can also find more information on Data Storage Architecture – DataMiner Dojo

Note that wen using the DataMiner Installer, the default DataMiner Installation will include a Cassandra database. To install a MySQL database instead, a custom installation should be selected.

Thanks a lot Leander, this was exactly what I was looking for.

Cheers!

Please note the DataMiner installer itself does not support MSSQL, only MySQL and Cassandra. When MSSQL is required it has to be installed and configured manually.
