Is it possible to use Data API to extend the information available on existing elements created from an existing "regular" connector?
If not, is this a feature that will be available in the future?

Hi Maria,
At the present time it is only possible to use DataAPI for auto-generated connectors and not existing connectors.
This is something that we have considered and have in our roadmap to investigate the feasibility and the use cases our users present that could leverage such a feature, so definitely something nice to hear you are looking at a use case.
