Dashboard template editor – Icons

In the template editor instructions in DataMiner documents, it describes that there is a drop down for icons.  I cannot find the drop down when I am in Layers or Tools?  e the icon drop down anywhere when I am editing.

Hi Randy,

To display icons in a template, you need to use the icon tool. When you have created a new icon layer/selected an existing icon layer, the icons become available on the right side of the editor.

Hi Wout – This was helpful but when I click on Tools and Icon, I do not get see the icon option under properties.

Hi Randy,
When you selected the tool, did you use it to add an icon shape to the template? You can do this by clicking & dragging on the template itself. After that you should see the icon picker on the right when the shape is selected. You can select the shape in the ‘layers’ tab. (It should auto-select upon creation)
