Dashboard – Disable Scientific notation in Line & area chart

Hello everyone,

is there a way to disable Scientific notation for the value-axis on a Line & area chart?

Or can dynamic units somehow be enabled for the axis, considering that it is a Bitrate Parameter?

Best Regards,

Robert

Hi Robert,

It is currently not possible to change the formatting of the axis labels of the Line & area chart. This formatting happens automatically, based on the values.

As a workaround, you could use GQI to fetch the trend data instead. This would allow you to add a custom operator to process the y-values of the lines and return lower values that do not format scientifically. Note that the GQI line chart has different downsides, such as no ability to show units.

Hello Wout,
thank you for your answer.
I will ask the customer if that would be a solution for them (I suspect not).

Best Regards,
Robert
