Dashboard App – Client Time Zone UTC

Solved1.48K views5th May 2021Dashboard Time Zone UTC

We would like to override the time zone setting for the Dataminer client application (Dashboard App). I already found the documentation regarding this. But unfortunately when trying to change the time zone to UTC in the way described in the documentation, the application throws an error message.

The string generated by TimeZoneInfo.ToSerializedString() looks also different for UTC than for the other time zones.

I am pretty sure I am missing something here, but not sure what exactly.

Any help would be appreciated!

This is indeed how it should be configured. I am able to reproduce this issue, it seems to occur on all time zones that don’t have a summer/winter timespan interval.

As this is a software issue, a task can be created on Collaboration to get this fixed.
