Hi there,
Seeking advice or a link to related docs to better understand the Cube feature Count alarms available in the Alarm Console.
Issue: total count of Alarm records for last 1 week indicates: 340360 (340K) records, but when the Cube app downloads all of them without any filtering included, it presents total only circa 39K...
Dataminer Cube > Alarm console > filter tab > Count alarms: 340360 records
But when it provides an output after "Show alarms" button clicked: I see only 38855 records...
Though, I cannot verify if it's actually 39K only because Cube v10.3 has no export possibility for the alarms (records) but checking this outcome with small number of records via copy/paste from the Alarm Console confirmed this indication correct.
Hi Ramunas,
I can't explain the discrepancy between alarm counts, but I do have a few remarks:
- Cube will always cap the alarms shown at 100000 to safeguard itself. You'll see the following popup for queries when this happens:
- For your investigation it might be useful to know you can drag and drop the alarm console to Excel, where it would be easier to count the number of rows.
I'll try to reproduce this issue and I will create an internal ticket if this indeed proves to be a bug.
Hi Ramunas,
Yes, I was able to reproduce this issue. Apparently a task was already created earlier this year for this: https://collaboration.dataminer.services/task/233117
Feel free to subscribe on the task via the bell button to get updated once this task gets picked up.
Hi Alexander,
Have you managed to reproduce the issue?
P.s. I see same Cube (mis)behavior with smaller number of alarm records.
