Hello, I was wondering if there is a way to create a new alarm template (preferably without manually creating an xml file) during an installation of a solution package, or in any automation script in general?

My biggest worry are changes of the version for that particular protocol, but I guess I could somehow make it work that way.
In terms of adding it to the solution package, do you mean by adding the xml as a companion file of that package, and importing it to the correct directory?

Normally, templates should be part of the connector package and will be automatically included when the connector is added to the solution package. Adding templates as companion files should work, but I didn't perform tests to confirm if this is the case.

Does the alarm template need to be created programmatically? Is it not an option to create an alarm template in Cube and then export it to the solution package?
