Controlling SNMP manager through automation

I would like to ‘schedule’ SNMP forwarding. So depending time of day / day of the week SNMP forwarding for a given manager should be active or not.

As the GUI for defining SNMP managers does not contain any option for time control I would like to do this by automation and then have a scheduler setup for this automation.

Unfortunately the C# commands available in automation do not have any support towards the SNMP forwarding.

So question her is: can anyone provide a piece of code to enable/disable a given SNMP manager in a DataMiner system.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Hans,

For now, I don’t have a final answer, but I don’t believe there’s an automation call available for that. You might need to work around it using an SLNet call, if possible.

I’ll do some research, ask around, and get back to you as soon as I have more information.

Thanks Luis,
I believe Marcos Mateus is also looking into it already – so may be best to sync with him briefly before asking around.
