Hi, is it possible to configure a different ‘Context engine ID’ per DMA in a failover pair?

Context:

This is the failover pair setup:

It is observed that if the following SNMP Manager is configured:

Whether it is ‘WIN-MBSU9QRGMFU’ or ‘WIN-DFG8R3DI1OO’ that is active, the same ‘Context engine ID’ is sent in the forwarded trap. Is it possible to configure a different ‘Context engine ID’ per DMA in a failover pair? It would also be helpful to provide the reason behind why this is not supported if it is not possible.

Hello Bing,

This configuration is done on an SNMP Manager level and since these are fully redundant in a failover setup, it takes over the same settings. Currently there is no option to override this configuration to behave differently in a failover setup.
