Hi All,
Might be a question directly for Skyline but wanted to see if anyone else has had the same issue running the Cisco Nexus protocol developed by Skyline. I've just been updating to the latest protocol used to monitor our Nexus switches and I've noticed we inconsistency get "Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 1" on some commands under the polling configuration tab.
This is inconsistent between different devices and different versions.. It also can inconsistent start polling successfully but then goes back to the line above.
We also inconsistently get data back for the NBM Flows between devices, data is greyed out for some devices and not for others.
Has anyone run into this? Once again, Might be a question for the developer.
Thanks,
Dave
Hi David,
The error "Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 1" suggests that the device is returning an XML response in a format that the connector cannot parse, possibly due to a mismatch in the expected structure.
If this occurs only on certain devices, I recommend verifying whether they are running different firmware versions, as this could be causing the inconsistency.
I suggest reporting this as a driver issue so we can investigate further and implement any necessary fixes.
