Cisco D9800 SS vs. MS models

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for details on the D9800 connector that we have on the catalog:

It seems that this product come in two versions which are different HW bases, the MS and the SS.

1RU D9800 Base Chassis with ASI Input/Output

D9800-SS-BASIC

1RU D9800 Base Chassis with ASI and MPEGOIP Input/Output

D9800-MS-MPEGOIP

Could anyone please confirm whether we are able to use the same D9800 driver for both platforms ?

Hi Jonathan,

The connector Cisco D9800 implements a REST API to poll information from the web service exposed by the receiver. As far I could see in the API documentation, this API is able to poll information from both chassis types.
