Is it possible to change the hostname of the servers running Cassandra and OpenSearch on Ubuntu?

Other than modifying the hostname on the OS level, are there any settings/procedures on application level to be taken care of?

Hi Laszlo,

If you are using the IP addresses everywhere and not hostnames, then there should be no problem changing the hostname of the server. I would still recommend if you are doing these types of actions, to always first do it on your staging/demo environment before doing this on a production environment.
