We can see that an enormous amount of information events are being generated for our development/testing systems for not all of them we have control (e.g. during install of the packages that update automation scripts). Is there an option to just disable information events from being stored in DataBase/StaaS (they are only sent to the client if subscribed)?
Hi Michiel,
I don't think it's possible to stop information events from being stored if they're being generated. What you can try to do is avoid generating these events in the first place. This documentation page might provide some useful information on how to do this:
https://docs.dataminer.services/develop/devguide/Automation/Best_Practices/Automation_best_practices_information_events.html
If you are still interested in disabling database writes while retaining the information in the client, I suggest opening a feature suggestion for this.

Thanks for the input Louis, created a feature suggestion for it: https://community.dataminer.services/new-feature-suggestions/option-to-disable-information-events-and-or-alarms-being-pushed-to-database/
