Can DataMiner be installed on a different drive then the C drive?
Additionally, can an existing installation be moved to another drive?
The Skyline DataMiner folder itself needs to be present under the C drive.
However, I'm wondering if it isn't possible to work with a junction. According to the documentation of Microsoft Hard Links and Junctions , a junction can link directories located on different local volumes on the same computer.
This way the C:\Skyline DataMiner folder would be the junction, while the real data is located on a folder in a different local drive.
Something like below, but then the source of the junction is on a different local drive:
