What would be the best way to monitor a certain crosspoint in a matrix. Our use case is that we have a need to act when a crosspoint is updated in a SDI matrix.
For example: if a source is changed to X we need to trigger some kind of action if the default source is restored another action needs to be triggered.

Hi Martin,
Does your matrix driver contain a matrix component?
If so, you can use the alarm template, to define alarms for certain crosspoints.
These alarms in turn can be used to trigger an action through correlation/automation.
The screenshot below shows the matrix alarm editor and is extracted from this training video.

Thank you Ive, we set the alarm template to generate information events for those crosspoint and use the correlation engine to trigger scripts based on those. So far initial tests are successful.
