Hi Dojo,
One of the questions we've had is how to monitor the status of a Cassandra node when it's external to the DMA? We are monitoring disk space, CPU and memory utilisation as normal, but how do we get Cassandra node status?

Thank you @Roger, that looks really interesting.
Hi Alasdair,
For general server monitoring, the Linux Platform Connector can be used. When you want to have more details on the Cassandra service itself (e.g. which nodes are up) you can use the Apache Cassandra Cluster Monitor Connector. As indicated by Roger there is a use case that gives you a couple of screenshots to give you an idea of what is available in the Cassandra Connector.
Both the Linux and Cassandra connectors can be used free of charge under the maintenance contract to monitor the DB used by DataMiner. If you are planning to monitor other Linux servers or Cassandra instances, a product order will be needed.
