At the moment, we use a button that, when clicked, filters the alarm console (Making a shape filter Alarm Console tabs when clicked | DataMiner Docs).
I was wondering if it’s possible to automate this action so that it executes automatically when the Visio is opened.

Unfortunately, this is currently not possible. We do have a way to show the active alarms that are related to the currently opened card:
Feel free to create a feature suggestion in case you believe this is not sufficient.

At first, this should actually work. I guess we'll have to look a bit deeper into your configuration I believe. I believe the best way forward will be a support ticket.
Hi Sebastiaan, yes but this functionnality don't work at all level of topology EPM chain. It's working at an Equipment Level but not at a Site Level
