Hi All.
I have been following the KATA series on Anomaly detection and transferring that knowledge to our system, but I can't access the "Smart" configurations shown in the demos.
I am running 10.2 CU5 on our system as a reference.
What is the next version I need to upgrade to obtain the extra configuration of Anomaly detection?
P.S. I love this feature in the Dataminer system, including the trend graphing. It has given us the power to predict many high-impact faults before they occur.
Hi Nathan,
These are available from 10.3.12 onwards on the feature release track, or 10.4.0 on the main release track. Note that you can already access part of this functionality even if you use an earlier DataMiner version if DataMiner Cube is updated to the latest version. You can find more information here: https://docs.dataminer.services/user-guide/Basic_Functionality/Protocols_and_templates/Alarm_templates/Configuring_alarm_templates/Configuring_anomaly_detection_alarms.html?tabs=tabid-1
For information on how to set Cube to use the latest updates, see https://docs.dataminer.services/user-guide/Getting_started/Accessing_DataMiner/Accessing_DataMiner_Cube/Opening_DataMiner_Cube/Managing_the_start_window.html#selecting-your-cube-update-track
To be more precise, steps 1-5 of the linked tutorial at https://docs.dataminer.services/user-guide/Basic_Functionality/Alarms/Working_with_alarms/Advanced_analytics_features/Tutorials/Anomaly_Detection_Tutorial.html can be done from DataMiner version 10.0.3 onwards, but the UI will look at bit different as mentioned in the docs page linked above. The options available prior to 10.3.12 / 10.4.0 correspond to the ‘smart’ options. The more detailed opens like setting custom absolute and relative thresholds is not available yet.
