I have a DMS with 10.1 version using Alerter app, and I will upgrade it to 10.2 version. The point here is that, does current Alerter installed compatible with new version? Or is it necessary to reinstall Alerter app after 10.2 upgrading is done? Does Alerter work as DataMiner Cube reading current version of connected system without new app installation?

Hi Daniel,
Although I can’t guarantee the compatibility, typically not much changes to the functionality of the Alerter and the communication with the DataMiner agent.
I don’t think you’ll need to reinstall the Alerter client after upgrading to 10.2.
If you would have a staging DMA it’s worth trying it first there.
No, the Alerter tool doesn’t auto-update when connecting to the server.
