Hi
We have the use case that we like an alarm if the value (eg link status for connected devices in the ARISTA driver) will change more than 5 times a day.

Is there a way in the alarm template to configure this requirements? I see only the possibility over time but not over a counter. I found in the other questions a simular use case with trending but I don't know if solve our use case.

Kind regards
Stefan

Hi Stefan,

To my knowledge there is no way to achieve this in the Alarm Template itself.

What you could do is create a correlation rule to get to your desired use-case:

  • Alarm Filter: Filter on the specific alarm you are looking for
  • Alarm Grouping: Group by Element
  • Sliding Window: 'situation to occur' 5 times in 24 hours
  • Actions: Create new Alarm

Kind regards,
