Alarm colour not populated for baseline alarming

Hi,

We have just applied an alarm template to a new element and have noticed one of the fields we are alarming on has not got a colour:

On other older elements with the same alarm template this field does have the colour:

I am curious if this is expected behaviour when using baselines?

Does it take time to establish what the baseline is in order to start alarming?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Hello Dojo Community,

We would appreciate any guidance on this issue.

If the current behavior is expected and there is no immediate solution, could it be considered for inclusion in a future enhancement or feature release? It would help improve operational visibility and reduce manual intervention in this area.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Hi Lisa,

I believe this is the expected behavior when a baseline is configured in the alarm template, but insufficient time has passed for the configured time window to be populated. In this case, the time window is set to 2 days.

Please also note that Average Trending must be enabled for this parameter.

What are the current baseline values calculated by Dataminer? My guess is that no baseline values have been calculated yet.

Kind regards,
Paulo
