We have a 4 nodes Cassandra cluster, we are planning to add additional nodes.
Does it require additional steps on the DataMiner System after adding the Cassandra nodes?

If you need to do a big change, it is recommended to stop all DataMiner agents of your DataMiner System, update DB.xml and then restart it again.
The different settings that can be configured in this xml-file, are documented on this page DB.xml | DataMiner Docs .
However, in your case, where you only need to let DataMiner know that a new additional node is added to the Cassandra Cluster that is used already, I think it is enough to update it in the UI of Cube (System Center -> Database), by adding the new nodes in the commaseparated list of Cassandra nodes, as indicated in the example screenshot here:
Afterwards you need to click on Save and then this setting will be synced over the whole system.
I still think that a DataMiner System restart will be needed to let DataMiner actually also "use" this new nodes. But at least you do not have to manually change and copy over DB.xml, it will be already done via the UI.
