Active Alarm time format in Visio – can it be forced to absolute datetime?

Hi,

I am displaying Active Alarms in a Visio overview using an alarm table.

In the TIME / ROOTTIME / CREATION TIME column, the time is displayed in a relative format such as:

For our use case, this makes it difficult to compare alarms across days. Ideally we would like to display the timestamp in a full absolute format like:

YYYY/MM/DD HH:mm:ss

I tried different placeholders (TIME, ROOTTIME, CREATION TIME, alarm placeholders), but they all seem to use the same relative time formatting.

My questions are:

Is it possible to force absolute datetime format in a Visio alarm table?

Is this controlled by a DataMiner / Cube UI setting somewhere?

Or is the relative time format fixed behavior for alarm timestamps in Visio?

Any suggestions or workarounds would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi,

I do not know if for Visio it is related to the same setting as the one for the Alarm Console, but in DataMiner Cube, you could try by opening the Settings (click on your account image top right corner->Settings). Then select Alarm Console, and change the "Alarm Console time format" from "Today/yesterday" into "Full date"? Potentially it could be needed to reopen Cube to have the changes applied everywhere.

Regards,

Thank you for your reply.
I was able to get it to work just by changing this setting.
