“50 Quick Ideas To Improve Your Tests” contains exactly what its title promises: 50 ideas to enhance testing-related activities, drawn from the authors’ experiences with various clients in different contexts. While not all ideas may be applicable or relevant to every situation, they have the potential to spark new approaches to testing.

It is important to note the book assumes readers are familiar with software testing basics, as it builds upon that foundation.

Its content is organized into four major categories:
    • Generating testing ideas
    • Designing good checks
    • Improving testability
    • Managing large test suites

What I particularly liked about the book is that each idea is contained within exactly two pages. This makes it very easy to pick up, even with limited reading time. Reading a couple of ideas in the morning before heading to work allowed me to reflect on them throughout the day.
