The Elastic and Cassandra installers are used to install the relevant database software via DataMiner. However, note that this is no longer recommended. We recommend using DataMiner Storage as a Service, so that there is no need for you to maintain the databases yourself. If you do want to use self-hosted storage instead, we recommend a setup with a Cassandra cluster and OpenSearch cluster installed on Linux machines.
