Hi

In the documents app in DataMiner I have several json files. The default app I use to open these files is VS Code. DataMiner detects this and uses the same symbol. Unfortunately DataMiner does not open these files in VS Code but in my default browser.

Can DataMiner open these files in the default app?

Hi Andries,

Currently, that’s not possible.
I believe it’s best to file a new feature suggestion for this.

The documents are located on the DMA, so the web browser is used to download them from the DMA agent. However, instead of downloading it, it could happen that the browser opens it inside the browser. This is a known issue and there is a task on our backlog to fix it (DCP192959).
