I have a chassis in which an IP card can be inserted. Resources will be created for each interface on the card together with a Compute Blade resource representing the card.

In my setup the user needs to select a resource for the FW SRC IP IN function. Based on the selection the correct Compute Blade resource will be assigned.

Is there a way that I can disable resource selection for the Compute Blade function so that I can force my user to select a FW SRC IP IN function resource?

Hi Jens,

Yes, you can use the property “ReadOnlyResourceSelectionControl” with the value “True” in the node of the service definition which will disable the resource selection on that node.
