The Dataminer specify that for the alarm forwarding the root time format is the one below.

But what is the time zone used for that time. Does the Dataminer use UTC or the local time of the server ? If the local time is used how the daylight saving is managed ?

Root time

1.3.6.1.4.1.8813.1.1.2.4.1.16

A fixed time format is used:
“yyyy-mm-dd HH:MM:SS”.

The root time that is passed along as a binding into the SNMP trap is similar to the root time that is displayed into the Alarm Console. More information can be found on https://help.dataminer.services/dataminer/DataMinerUserGuide/part_2/alarms/Working_with_the_Alarm_Console.htm#XREF_48264_Alarm_Console

The time used is the server time. If the server is configured in UTC, that root time will be in UTC time. Note also that the server could be configured in local time, and with daylight saving managed.
