What’s new in DataMiner 10.6.8?

What’s new in DataMiner 10.6.8?

With every DataMiner Feature Release, we introduce improvements and new capabilities that help you get more value out of your system. In this post, we highlight the most noteworthy additions to DataMiner 10.6.8.

Below, you’ll find a list of the new or improved features that are worth highlighting in this release. Each item links to relevant documentation where you can find more details.

  • You can now easily reuse GQI queries across dashboards and low-code apps. Export a query from one dashboard or app and import it into another to save time and avoid duplicate work.
  • Keeping track of system requirements is now easier, with a single BPA test that validates all requirements defined in the DataMiner Compute Requirements.
  • You can now define a set of discrete values for columns in custom GQI ad hoc data sources, making it easier to filter data. Instead of manually entering filter values, you can select them from a list, and special values such as error states can be surfaced as convenient filter options.
  • User-defined APIs are now more flexible:
    • It is now possible to use PATCH requests, allowing partial resource updates and helping your APIs align more closely with common REST standards.
    • Dynamic route segments can now expose values from the request path to the trigger script. For example, a request to items/42 against the route items/{id} will provide id = 42.
  • DataMiner Cube now provides clearer visual indicators when a connection may not be fully secure. Browser-style warnings make it easier to spot potential security issues and understand when a connection may not meet recommended security standards.
