Hi Dojo,
I have a setup with a Cassandra Cluster and OpenSearch.
Due to a network issue, the DMS temporarily lost connection to the databases and started offloading data. After some time, DataMiner raised the following alarm: “Max file offload disk usage for certain storages has been reached, new data for these storages will be dropped”.
The network issue is now resolved, the DMS has reconnected to both databases and no longer reports them as down. However, the mentioned notice is still present.
Does this persistent notice indicate that there is still an active issue with the offload process or the DB connection, or is this a notice that needs to be cleared manually?
Hi Catarina
Subscribing to hear more from the community – I believe only some notices are built to somehow "update" – usually depending on the "parameter description" of the notice itself – so for some notices, the entry will just be shown in alarm console when a given condition is present – do you have a screenshot of this one?
