Hi dojo,

On the documentation we see that we currently support Cassandra 4.0 and 4.1. (https://docs.dataminer.services/dataminer/Reference/DataMiner_Compute_Requirements.html#cassandra-requirements)

Are there any plans to have Cassandra 5.0 supported?

Kind regards,

Hi Stacey,

We intend to support Cassandra 5.0.
At the start of last spring we had a validation run, verifying the compatibility with Cassandra 5.0 but unfortunately our recommended way of keeping the Cassandra nodes repaired and in sync, through Cassandra Reaper, is not yet fully compatible with Cassandra 5.0.

We are awaiting further updates on Reaper before we recommend the usage of Cassandra 5.0 with DataMiner. These are currently actively in the works at the team behind Cassandra Reaper.

With Kind Regards,
