Page/panel updates Low-Code Apps

Hi Dojo,

While exploring the settings of a page, I came across the Page/Panel Updates options, which include real-time updates and regular updates. I checked the documentation (Configuring the settings for a page of panel) and expected this setting to affect how components are updated.

To test it, I used the Total Processor Load of my DataMiner Agent. However, I noticed that it updates every time a new value is available, rather than every 5 seconds as I expected.

Could you clarify what this setting is actually used for?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Sofian,

The setting is only applied after refreshing the dashboard/app.

After that, you should see a request every X seconds as configured in your fast polling:

Hi Sebastiaan,

Is this for a specific type of component?

I still just see every change of value immediately reflected on the dashboard (just as in cube).

Thanks for your response.

This was on a gauge component showing a Total Processor Load for a Microsoft Platform element.

My "Allow WebSocket communication" was still checked, after unchecking I see the fast polling timer. Thanks!
